REGISTERED NURSE - POST-ANESTHESIA CARE UNIT

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Registered Nurse candidates for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit will have the following job responsibilities:

Registered Nurse - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit

RN - PACU

Full‑Time

Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while managing evidence-based practices and continuous improvement initiatives

Be an integral member of a dynamic interdisciplinary team consisting of the provider(s), therapy, and more.

Consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients

Assess patient condition, monitor throughout your shift, and document changes in patient condition along with the care provided thoroughly

Educate patients and families/caregivers about the patients medical condition, treatment and follow-up measures

JOB QUALIFICATIONS Registered Nurse candidates for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

Registered Nurse - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit

RN - PACU

Full‑Time

Must have 1 year of Recent (Within the last year) acute care PACU RN experience. Side Note* Facility strongly prefers Critical Care Experience in addition to the PACU RN experience

Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

(APRN) Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, or (RN) Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree

Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date

PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
