New Season Treatment Centers is a leading national outpatient treatment provider for individuals living with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). We operate over 70 centers across multiple states, offering medication‑assisted treatment, counseling, support, and care management.

Job Summary The Area Clinical Supervisor oversees clinical staff and ensures compliance at assigned centers. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team—including Medical Director, Program Director, Nurses, and Counselors—to meet the clinical needs of patients and enhance overall patient wellbeing.

Essential Functions

Ensures compliance with all local, state, federal, and corporate regulations and remains within the allocated budget.

Communicates significant treatment events to leadership and recommends solutions.

Guides patients and staff in completing intake, admission, discharge, and aftercare paperwork.

Ensures patient clinical charts accurately document progress and meet regulatory requirements, addressing deficiencies through training or disciplinary action as needed.

Supports achieving and maintaining three‑year accreditation status through recognized accrediting bodies.

Maintains appropriate staffing patterns per policy and reports staffing recommendations.

Provides clinical supervision hours to counselors seeking certification or licensure per formalized process.

Provides feedback to leadership on individual staff performance issues.

Oversees clinical supervision for staff as required.

Provides direct supervision and training to Treatment Services Supervisors and/or Coordinators to enhance the clinical team.

Travels to multiple locations, offering face‑to‑face supervision based on credentials.

Reports patient abuse, neglect, or exploitation as required.

Ensures staff understand the policy and procedures manual.

Ensures compliance with 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, and related regulations.

Maintains proper licensure and/or certification per state requirements.

Conducts clinical trainings related to counseling services.

Acts in best interests of the program and protects proprietary data.

Performs additional duties as assigned by clinic, regional, or corporate leadership.

Supervisory Responsibilities Provides clinical oversight and supervision for Treatment Services Supervisors, Treatment Team Coordinators, and Counselors within the assigned region following state regulations and standards.

Essential Qualifications Education/Licensure/Certification:

Master’s degree in a related field and licensure/certification or the international IC&R equivalent.

Required Knowledge:

Knowledge of methadone, clinical supervision and counseling practices, federal confidentiality law, HIPAA, and ethics. Computer literacy and basic Microsoft Office skills.

Experience:

Minimum of five (5) years.

Skills and Abilities:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to multitask, prioritize, and demonstrate reliability.

Job or State Requirements:

CCS, or CSI.

Physical Demands/Work Environment

Finger dexterity for writing, operating calculator, telephone, keyboard, and other office equipment.

Talking: ability to communicate with patients and colleagues.

Hearing: ability to hear normal conversations and receive ordinary information.

Vision: average visual acuity for computer work; clear vision at 20 inches or less and distant vision at 20 feet or more.

Physical strength: sedentary work; may lift up to 10 pounds; occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching.

Working Conditions

Operate in an open work area with moderate everyday noise.

Travel as needed to perform job functions and meet face‑to‑face supervision requirements.

Reasoning Ability:

Resolve practical problems and tackle variable situations with limited standardization; interpret written, oral, and diagrammatic instructions; maintain confidentiality.

Mathematics Ability:

Basic math skills.

Language Ability:

Read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and regulations; write reports and business correspondence; present information and respond to questions from various audiences.
