Banner Behavioral Health Hospital (BBHH) Scottsdale has provided a nationally recognized behavioral health care program for children, teens and adults faced with psychiatric, behavioral health, or chemical dependency challenges. We are dedicated to providing safe, confidential and compassionate treatment with customized treatment plans to meet each patient's needs in the least restrictive therapeutic environment. As a Behavioral Health Counselor LMSW LCSW LPC, you will provide assessments for outpatient treatment, offer intensive outpatient programs at our Scottsdale facility and Chandler office for adults and adolescents with chemical dependence or mental health challenges. Your duties include floating between IOP group counseling, IOP intake clinician, BBHH inpatient hospital for group coverage and CM assistance. You will facilitate a chemical dependency IOP group for adults, complete intake assessments, and assist inpatient Case Management Team with intake assessments and inpatient groups. This part‑time position is Tuesday through Thursday from 1pm - 9pm, with holiday rotation required. Location: Scottsdale, Arizona. Position Summary: This position provides clinical assessment and psychotherapy services for a defined patient population. Services are provided to patients, families and/or groups and may be in both inpatient, residential, and outpatient settings. Services are provided in areas including substance abuse, emotional and behavioral issues, eating disorders and other mental disorders as outlined in the DSM. Core Functions

Provides assessment and direct psychotherapy to individuals, families, and groups. Coordinates all aspects of patient care from admission to discharge, interacting with the physician and other members of the clinical treatment team to provide quality patient care. Must be independently licensed in Arizona to bill for CPT codes. Provides education and orientation for patients, families, and others in the assigned treatment program. Collaborates with the patient in developing a written treatment plan. Monitors patients on an ongoing basis to continually assess needs and facilitate treatment and interventions. Documents clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment plan, diagnostic summaries, and progress charting in a timely manner. Actively participates as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team and maintains effective working relationships with physicians and peers. May provide clinical updates to representatives of managed care to coordinate reimbursement. May conduct cognitive testing and document results. Coordinates with community-based providers to assure optimal post‑discharge care. Provides critical assessments and appropriate treatment plans, managing direct care of patients in a behavioral health treatment program. May provide indirect supervision to associate‑level therapists, including weekly supervision and documentation. May review and sign off on clinical documentation from non‑licensed staff within 72 business hours of completion. Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in counseling, behavioral health, or related human services field. Licensure in behavioral health (e.g., LMSW, LCSW, LPC) required in the state of Arizona. Proficiency level typically achieved with 2 years of experience in a behavioral health setting. Ability to work with a diverse population and possess interpersonal skills required for treating patients in the assigned specialty. Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card and Criminal History Affidavit upon hire for clinical roles serving children. Preferred Qualifications
