Job Description
Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service‑oriented manner. Fully comprehend and be able to operate all relevant aspects of the reservation system. Follow all cash handling and credit policies. Maintain confidentiality of information. Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service‑oriented manner. Listen to, understand, and clarify concerns raised by employees and guests. Show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs. Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times. Multi‑task efficiently. Maintain a clean work area. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag. Maintain regular attendance in compliance with the Victory Casino Cruises Handbook; scheduling will vary according to business needs. Work weekends as needed. Be flexible with working holidays. Field inbound guest service phone support. Be aware of all rates, packages, and special promotions. Be aware of blackout dates. Obtain all necessary information when taking reservations. Perform other duties as requested by management. Education and Experience
Computer experience required. Customer services experience required. Money handling experience required. Experience in the casino industry preferred. Physical Requirements
Clear and confident speaking, hearing, reading, and writing. Ability to stand during entire shift. Occasional light work, exerting up to 15 pounds. Some holiday shifts are required. No visible tattoos (includes hands, arms, face, neck); Victory Casino Cruises has a No Visible Tattoo Policy; for this position you must be cleared of all arm, hand, face & neck tattoos.
