Lead Medical Assistant Citrus and Marion County

Manages a variety of office activities and operations, overseeing office personnel, clinical staff, and patient experience. Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service to improve satisfaction and relationships. Stay current on policies and procedures. Maintain stellar customer service skills at all times. Maximize office productivity through enforcement of company policies and procedures. Research and develop resources that create timely and efficient workflow. Establish uniform correspondence practices and procedures. Review clerical and personnel records for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness. Train new personnel and maintain timely performance reviews. Maintain performance documentation of personnel. Maintain contact with customers and outside vendors. Assist company marketer with marketing activities and contract acquisition. Ensure patients receive the company’s vision of patient care experience. Prepare and submit payroll of personnel. Produce necessary reports of clinic operations for the Regional Manager. Maintain and account for appropriate payment collections, petty cash logs, receipts, and daily bank deposits. Attend company meetings and host staff meetings with assigned location. Perform any additional duties assigned. Qualifications

Excellent customer service skills. Familiarity with company policies and healthcare regulations. High School diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of business office procedures. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to greet patients and answer phones professionally. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, patients, and the public. Utilize time management skills. Recognize, evaluate, solve problems, and correct errors. Maintain productivity and work independently. Planning and organization skills. Ability to adapt to a variety of situations and personnel. Project management skills. Ability to manage people effectively toward company goals. Must have at least 2 years of Medical Assistant skills and insurance verification. 1 year of leadership in a medical setting. Working Conditions

This position may require evening, weekend, or holiday work and many hours in a sitting or standing position. Travel to various office locations may be required.
