Norcross, GA . Why This Role
Great opportunity to provide true 1:1 care as a Nurse Practitioner, build meaningful relationships with patients, and focus on preventive care — helping patients “get well and stay well.” Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, with flexibility to adjust hours and days (minimum of 16 hours per week) and the option to work different days of the week. Clinic Flow: Mix of scheduled appointments and walk‑ins. Very laid‑back environment with a small, 2‑person care team. What You’ll Do
Conduct physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines. Perform procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management. Develop patient care plans, record progress, and ensure continuity of care. Educate patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development. Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care. Prescribe or recommend treatments, including medications and therapies. Refer patients to specialists or physicians as needed. Maintain patient health records and ensure accurate, up‑to‑date documentation. Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices. Perform other duties as assigned. What You’ll Bring
Maintain state RN licenses/certificates to practice. Maintain Nurse Practitioner licenses/certificates to practice. Maintain State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable). Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable). Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required). Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing (a copy of transcripts required if “Nursing” is not stated on the certificate). Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC, or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers (Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services). At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, or emergency department setting.
