Hourly Pay Range $36.00 - $55.80 – The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

Position: Registered Nurse

Location: LOH-Mill Street Naperville

Full Time 40 hrs

Hours: 7:30 am - 6:00 pm 4 days a week

What you will do

Develop a plan of care that identifies interventions to achieve expected outcomes. Evaluate patient’s progress toward attainment of outcomes, systematically revise diagnosis, interventions and expected outcomes as needed.

Provide patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.

Communicate plan of care to patient and family regularly respecting the patient’s wishes through acknowledgement of patient/family perceptions of health and illness and mutual goal setting for optimal outcomes. Communicate patient data to physician and interdisciplinary team as indicated to achieve patient care needs. Document patient health data, interventions and communications.

Individualize patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their specific learning needs. Assess patient’s cultural background, learning style, learning barriers, and modify teaching plan accordingly. Provide teaching on disease management strategies, emergency care and drug information when appropriate. Identify community resources to support patient self‑management of disease.

Interact with and contribute to professional development of peers, students and other health care providers as colleagues. Share knowledge, provide feedback and contribute to an environment supportive of clinical education. Assign or delegate tasks as needed.

Nurture a compassionate environment by providing psychological support.

What you will need Education, Skills and/or Experience Required:

Maintain information as highly confidential

Nursing degree

Education, Skills and/or Experience Preferred:

One-year psychiatric experience

Basic knowledge of abnormal psychology as typically found in the psychiatric population

Familiarity with management of a therapeutic level system and understanding of system of rewards and consequences

License/Certification Required

Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse license

Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross

CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification within 90 days of hire
