Carrus Care is an outpatient mental health facility that allows children to tend to their mental health needs while allowing them to complete their schoolwork onsite with the licensed treatment team ensuring success both in the classroom and personally. We would love to have you on our team!
Responsibilities
Provides individual psychotherapy and/or case management sessions on an as-needed basis.
Provides group psychotherapy and other psycho-educational groups to patients per program schedule.
Conducts family therapy sessions as needed throughout the patient’s stay.
Conducts prescreening assessments to ensure patients meet regulatory requirements for admission as measured by patient record audits.
Conducts community education activities (individual and community) as directed by the Hospital Administrator.
Reports to work in a timely manner and adheres to policies, procedures, and processes.
Performs Other Job Duties As Needed And/or As Assigned.
Qualifications
Requires Master’s degree in social work, counseling or psychology from an accredited college or university.
Two to five years of experience as a Social Worker in the mental health field is preferred.
Leadership Experience Strongly Preferred.
Must be able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written means.
Licensing & Certifications
Requires State LMSW or LPC license.
BLS certification is required upon hire.
De-escalation training is required within 30 days of hire.
