Job Description:
Practicing infection control standards and using approved PPE and disinfectant agents.
Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time‑out procedures prior to starting exams.
Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
Educates patients about the exam and completes all exams in a timely manner, maintaining workflow and minimizing empty table time.
Operates all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, and monitors, adapting protocols for patients of all ages.
Qualification Requirements:
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: Bachelor's, High School Grad or Equiv (Required).
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Computed Tomography (ARRT‑CT) – EV Accredited Issuing Body, Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS) – RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Certified Radiologic Technologist (R.T.-CERT) – EV Accredited Issuing Body, Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) – EV Accredited Issuing Body, Medical Radiation Technology‑IEMA (MRT‑IEMA) – EV Accredited Issuing Body, Medical Radiologic Tech (MRT) – EV Accredited Issuing Body, Radiologic Technologist – License (RT‑LIC) – Accredited Issuing Body, Registered Technologist – Radiography (R.T.(R)(ARRT)) – EV Accredited Issuing Body.
Pay Range:
$29.04 – $54.02
