In-Home Registered Nurse (RN) Reports to: Director of Nursing. Employment Type: CONTRACT. Position: Full-Time or Part-Time. Location: Irwin County, Ga.

Role The Registered Nurse (RN) ensures the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to clients of National Home Care Corporation. The RN plays a pivotal role in clinical leadership by conducting assessments, creating care plans, supervising staff, and fostering a culture of excellence in client care.

Responsibilities

Ensure each client’s needs are thoroughly assessed and accurately reflected in individualized care plans.

Deliver skilled nursing services that promote healing, comfort, and client well-being.

Provide leadership and supervision to LPNs, PCAs, CNAs, and other care staff, ensuring that care is consistent with professional standards and agency policies.

Strengthen the quality of care through regular supervisory visits, staff coaching, and mentoring.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation that reflects the client’s condition and the care provided.

Serve as a trusted resource for families, clients, and staff by providing education and guidance.

Promote compliance with state regulations, payer program requirements, and agency standards.

Foster collaboration among the care team to ensure continuity and effectiveness of services.

Results Clients receive consistent, high-quality nursing care that supports independence, safety, and improved health outcomes.

Care plans remain current, relevant, and aligned with client needs as they change over time.

Staff perform confidently and competently under RN supervision, resulting in reliable care delivery.

Families feel supported, informed, and reassured about their loved one’s care.

Documentation consistently supports continuity of care and regulatory compliance.

The agency is recognized as a reliable provider of skilled nursing services due to the RN’s leadership and oversight.

Requirements

Current Georgia RN license in good standing.

Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Strong clinical judgment with the ability to develop effective care plans and adjust them as conditions change.

Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor nursing staff and unlicensed personnel.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that build trust with clients, families, and referral partners.

Proficiency in clinical documentation and use of electronic health records.

Commitment to professionalism, continuous improvement, and client-centered care.

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes as needed.
