Shift & Pay SHIFT: Day Shift, Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm. Overtime may be required on certain Saturdays (6am-12:30pm).
PAY: $21.85 per hour.
Job Summary Nutra Blend is an industry leader in manufacturing and distributing quality vitamin, trace mineral, micro-ingredients and antibiotic premixes for the feed industry. The
Production Operator
is the front-line employee who performs the manufacturing processes that add value and quality to the inputs and create the final high-quality products. Tasks include receiving and handling raw materials, adding value through proprietary processes, and packaging the final product. Safety, attention to detail, quality, sanitation focus, and efficiency are key to success.
Required Experience
6+ months of manufacturing experience.
Basic computer skills.
Minimum Qualifications
Age 18 or older.
Comprehension: Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions.
Critical Thinking: Using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
Safety: Ensuring the complete physical safety of oneself and co-workers at all times.
Time Management: Showing up on time, reliably completing tasks by the deadline, and adapting to changes with minimal supervision.
Coordination: Working well with others to meet team goals and adjusting to important changes.
Active Learning: Understanding implications of new information for current and future problem solving.
Active Listening: Giving full attention to what others say, understanding points, and asking questions as appropriate.
Physical Requirements
Able to lift 50 lbs.
Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing, and other active movements.
Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in dusty environments.
Shift schedules that include days, nights, and weekends, some holidays and periodic overtime.
