Job Description Provide basic clinical and clerical support within the Medical Assistant scope of education. The candidate will receive ongoing training across all aspects of the role.
Qualifications Education:
Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR an active CT CNA, EMT, Paramedic or Medic Certification OR relevant experience
Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) within 90 days of hire or transfer
Maintain all required credentials throughout employment
Experience
At least one year of direct patient care experience (acute or ambulatory) may satisfy the education requirement
Preferred: Relevant experience or MA externship in a busy medical office
EPIC EMR experience preferred
