Location: Trinity Health Livonia – a full‑service, 304‑bed acute care hospital located in Livonia, MI. The hospital offers comprehensive care including a 24‑hour emergency department, general medicine, inpatient and outpatient surgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, intensive care unit, cancer, cardiology, geriatrics, birthing and women's health. Unit description:
The 29‑bed telemetry‑capable Medical‑Surgical unit focuses on oncology and comfort care, providing compassionate and comprehensive treatment for patients with complex needs. Common diagnoses include acute kidney injury (AKI), COPD, pneumonia, respiratory failure and more. Nurses on this unit are trained to administer chemotherapy and deliver specialized care tailored to oncology patients, while ensuring comfort and dignity throughout the care journey.
Responsibilities SUMMARY:
The Registered Nurse is accountable for the management of patient care during a designated timeframe. Responsibilities include coordination and evaluation of care, teaching and delegation of patient activities to other health‑care team members via therapeutic use of self, nursing process and environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate degree in Nursing required. Sworn or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years.
Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan required.
BLS required.
Previous medical‑surgical experience preferred.
Computer proficiency and excellent customer service skills.
