Home Care Professional—Committed Caregiver
GUARDIAN ANGEL SENIOR SERVICES is looking for a compassionate Caregiver to join our team at multiple locations for both shorter & longer hours. The Caregiver is responsible for the physical care and emotional support to clients who have difficulty caring for themselves due to illness, injury, surgery, or disability. The candidate must provide dignity, patience, compassion, and respect, and remain empathetic at all times.
Job Responsibilities
Light housekeeping: vacuuming, emptying trash, changing bed linens, laundry.
Accompany clients to appointments or socially engaging activities as part of companionship duties.
Remind & assist clients with pre‑dosed medications.
Prepare meals while observing dietary restrictions and safety precautions.
Grocery shopping and running errands per requirements.
Provide transportation when needed or assigned.
Assist with personal hygiene care (dressing/undressing, showering, feeding, etc.).
Act quickly & responsibly during emergencies.
Requirements
High school diploma preferred.
HHA Certificate or CNA required.
Safe driving record with reliable transportation and car insurance.
Must pass background check.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
