Are you the operator crews count on? If putting a site on grade, cutting to spec, and keeping equipment mission‑ready sounds like your kind of day, Morgan Corp. wants to hear from you. We’re hiring an Industrial Site Development Equipment Operator to support projects across the Southeast.
Picture this
You step onto the site, review the plan, and climb into your machine. Your safety checks are second nature—walk‑around, fluid levels, attachments, controls. By mid‑morning, you’re shaping subgrade with a motor grader or moving earth with a dozer or excavator. After lunch, you compact to target with a roller. Throughout, you document, communicate, and deliver.
What you’ll handle
Operate: Dozer, Excavator, Roller, Motor Grader (as trained/experienced)
Adhere to all company and site safety policies and procedures
Run equipment safely and productively to meet daily goals
Perform inspections, safety walk‑arounds, and preventive maintenance
Maintain equipment condition; report and record maintenance needs
Complete all required paperwork and reports
Take on other related duties as assigned
What it takes to thrive
Prefer 2+ years of heavy equipment operating experience
Understanding of efficient, safe operation; familiarity with Caterpillar, Komatsu, etc.
Able to enter/exit machines without assistance
Valid driver’s license
Frequently lift 20 lbs.; occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Travel‑ready for assignments across the southeastern U.S.
Schedule flexibility for overtime and weekends as needed
Environment and physical demands Expect outdoor work in all weather. The job involves sustained physical effort over long periods in varying and sometimes adverse field conditions, including lifting and carrying, standing, walking uneven terrain, manual manipulation, grasping, reaching at/above shoulder height, climbing, kneeling, bending, twisting, and pushing/pulling.
What you’ll receive
Pay that’s competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications
Health benefits plus a 401(k) plan
Paid Time Off
Holiday pay
