Vascular Surgery Physician Employment in Florida
AdventHealth Riverview, an 82‑bed hospital with future expansion to over 200 beds, in South Hillsborough County/Tampa, in the AdventHealth West Florida Division (now comprised of 15 hospitals), is seeking a board‑certified, fellowship‑trained, highly motivated, and experienced Vascular Surgeon. This individual should be accomplished in all facets of vascular surgery, including open and endovascular procedures, and will see a broad array of cases.
Practice Description AdventHealth expanded its medical expertise, innovation, and state‑of‑the‑art technology to southern Hillsborough County through a brand‑new hospital, opened October 2024, AdventHealth Riverview. This $216 million project includes a 209,000‑square‑foot, four‑story facility that provides community members convenient access to emergency care, digestive care, heart care, orthopedic care, women’s care, and urological care. The West Florida Division Medical Group continues to grow rapidly to meet the needs of the communities we serve. Over the last six years, we have nearly tripled in size, with a projection to grow to 835 providers by the end of 2025. With the addition of AdventHealth Port Charlotte, we span a broad geography in eight counties—Charlotte, Hardee, Highlands, Hillsborough, Marion, Pasco, Pinellas, and Polk—plus five Care Pavilions. Our providers represent 40 specialties and we care for one million patients annually. Using leading‑edge technology, innovation, and compassion, we deliver our brand of whole‑person care.
Community Description Tampa Bay is the heart of Florida’s Gulf coast. The community is culturally diverse and a wonderful place to raise a family. Tampa Bay is home to excellent public and private schools and several colleges and universities, including the University of South Florida and the University of Tampa. The area features multiple theaters, museums, and festivals, as well as family‑friendly attractions such as Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, The Florida Aquarium, ZooTampa, and Bok Tower Gardens. Qualifications
Board‑certified or Board‑eligible Medical Doctor.
Fellowship trained in vascular surgery.
Experience in all facets of vascular surgery, including open and endovascular procedures.
Current U.S. residency or U.S. work visa.
