Responsibilities
Assist with the clearing & removal of trees along electrical power lines and right-of-ways.
Operate an aerial lift device (bucket truck) to reach branches interfering with electric lines.
Operate chain saws, pruners, brush chipper and may be called upon to climb trees using climbing equipment.
Qualifications
At least 6 months of verifiable experience trimming out of a bucket and/or running a bucket in a utility line clearance and/or residential tree clearance setting.
CDL License / Valid Driver License preferred.
Pesticide license beneficial but not mandatory.
Schedule & Compensation
Work Schedule: 4-10 hour days, either Monday thru Thursday or Tuesday thru Friday with periods of mandatory overtime.
Employees are required to work emergency storm duty as needed.
Rate of Pay: Varies depending upon skills and experience.
Work Area & Travel
Travel required throughout various states including PA, MD, OH, VA, & WV.
Candidates must be flexible to travel when called upon as work locations are subject to change upon short notice based on contract demands.
