At St. Luke’s, our dedicated team of Registered Nurses provides exceptional, patient‑centered care in the Children’s Pulmonology Clinic located in Boise at The Children’s Pavilion. We are currently hiring for a part‑time (0.6 FTE) RN.
What You Can Expect
Provide compassionate, family‑centered care by rooming pediatric patients, obtaining vitals, and documenting clinical information.
Perform and support spirometry (POCT) and other pulmonary testing as part of routine clinic visits.
Manage the clinic inbox, including patient messages, care coordination, and follow‑up communication.
Complete prior authorizations for pulmonary medications, respiratory equipment, and supplies.
Participate in specialty clinics such as trach/vent and muscular dystrophy clinics, supporting patients with complex respiratory needs.
Collaborate closely with pulmonology providers, respiratory therapy, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality, coordinated care.
Schedule:
3, 8‑hour variable shifts per week between Monday – Friday. No weekends or holidays.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Experience: 1 year of nursing experience.
Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the state of practice AND current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through one of the following: American Safety & Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of pulmonology and asthma.
