Contract position with potential to become permanent after 3 months.
Schedule: 8:00 am–6:00 pm, Monday-Friday; rotating Saturdays 9:00 am–1:00 pm.

Summary
The main function of a phlebotomist is to assist in performing various assigned duties, troubleshoot, train, and make workflow recommendations, ensuring accurate specimen collection and data entry. Responsibilities
Perform blood draws (venipuncture) and collect specimens from various patient types. Label, centrifuge, split, freeze, and package specimens according to laboratory requisition orders. Record specimen information and maintain accurate patient data in the computer system. Ensure compliance with OSHA, DEP regulations, and laboratory protocols. Maintain inventory and packaging supplies for specimen transport. Provide high customer service; conduct telephone calls and answer inquiries about test results. Attend annual department trainings and stay current with clinical best practices. Minimum Qualifications
Valid state phlebotomy certification (as required in some states). Minimum six months of experience performing venipunctures in a fast‑paced lab or hospital setting.
