as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our residential treatment facility for children with mental/behavioral health concerns.

Job Summary As an LPN at Pathway Family Services, you will provide direct physical and emotional support to children in residential treatment, work as part of a multidisciplinary team, perform assessments, coordinate medication management, conduct nursing education groups, and consult with care staff and physicians.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care and support to children in a 24/7 residential treatment setting.

Conduct initial and ongoing assessments and coordinate medication management.

Lead nursing education groups for residents and families.

Consult with direct care staff and physicians regarding residents’ physical wellbeing.

Respond to physical wellness concerns and emergencies.

Qualifications

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Kansas.

Minimum of 21 years of age and at least 3 years older than the oldest resident.

Valid Kansas driver’s license, valid insurance, and ability to transport clients in agency or personal vehicle.

Eligibility for credentialing with Kansas Medicaid for billing.

Compassionate, trauma‑informed approach, and commitment to building families’ strengths.

Experience in residential or behavioral health settings preferred.

Schedule & Location In‑office position with flexible scheduling coordinated with the Lead Nurse and facility administration to cover 24/7 needs.

Compensation

Average hourly rate: $29.96/hour (includes wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.)

$3,000 sign‑on bonus.
