About the Role
REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This part‑time Caregiver (Direct Support Professional) position will support participants with personal hygiene, behavioral challenges, and other complex needs, creating meaningful relationships and helping them enjoy community activities.
Schedule & Compensation
Fridays and EOW: 3:00 pm‑10:00 pm
Hourly rate: $16.50
Key Responsibilities
Help people grow, learn, and live well by assisting with personal hygiene and daily tasks.
Support individuals who may have behavioral challenges and complex needs.
Build real, meaningful relationships with participants and support their inclusion in community activities.
Take initiative to help participants develop skills such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
Demonstrate ownership and trust with leaders to do what’s right for participants.
What You’ll Bring
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination.
Key skills: Communication, adaptability, multi‑tasking, teamwork, and time‑management.
Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
Driver’s license and a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
