Preschool Music Specialist - Part Time

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Part‑Time Preschool Music Specialist to join our enrichment team!
Responsibilities
Lead engaging music enrichment sessions for preschool students across multiple campuses.
Introduce children to rhythm, instruments, songs, and creative movement.
Partner with classroom teachers to create a music‑rich learning environment.
Spread positivity and joy throughout our campuses during the morning schedule (9:30 AM–1:00 PM, Monday–Friday).
Qualifications
Certified MSDE 90‑hour Preschool or CDA with preschool endorsement (preferred).
Minimum 2 years of experience teaching music to preschool children.
Proficiency in at least one instrument and comfortable singing in front of children.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to Apple Ridge/Gaithersburg, Darnestown, North Potomac, and Greenwood/Hyattsville.
Understanding of child development principles and effective teaching methods.
Warm, friendly, and organized, with strong attendance and punctuality.
Required to pass state and federal background check; GSA security clearance for federal campuses.
Benefits & Compensation
Hourly pay $25 – 30 USD (location varies: Apple Ridge $25 – 30, Darnestown $25 – 30, North Potomac $25 – 30, Greenwood $25 – 30).
Flexible part‑time schedule, with opportunity to grow into full‑time position.
Traveling specialist role across Georgetown Hill Early School community.
