We are entering a growth phase and are seeking a Marketing Manager who will work closely with the CEO to refine the Firm’s marketing strategy and execute with rigor and professionalism.
Role Overview This is an
experienced individual‑contributor role
responsible for both
creating and executing the Firm’s marketing strategy . The Marketing Manager will operate independently, manage priorities, and deliver work without requiring daily oversight.
The successful candidate is comfortable with accountability, deadlines, and transparency, and understands marketing in a
professional‑services environment . This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the CEO to develop and drive growth of a boutique investment management firm.
Core Responsibilities Marketing Strategy & Planning
Develop and maintain the
annual marketing strategy
aligned with firm growth goals
Create and manage a
monthly communications calendar
Translate firm priorities into clear marketing initiatives (thought leadership, visibility, education, governance content)
Ensure messaging is consistent, credible, and appropriate for nonprofit boards, foundations, and institutional audiences
Execution & Delivery
Execute marketing initiatives end‑to‑end with
on‑time, high‑quality delivery
Create and refine content utilizing tools and platforms including Canva, PowerPoint, video editing, Wix, LinkedIn
Produce and oversee content across channels (LinkedIn, website, presentations, collateral)
Maintain accurate task tracking and provide accurate, timely status updates
Proactively flag risks, constraints, or delays before deadlines
Manage vendors, designers, or contractors as needed
Track performance of marketing initiatives and content, sharing insights and adjusting execution to improve results
Growth, Visibility & Business Development Support
Research and recommend conferences and industry events
Speaking opportunities
Sponsorships and partnerships
Support prospecting and COI (center of influence) visibility through marketing materials and outreach strategy and support
Identify opportunities for Endowment Partners to strengthen market presence and credibility
Professional Standards & Accountability
Uphold a board‑ready, professional tone across all materials
Maintain clear documentation, organization, and follow‑through
Operate with integrity, transparency, and ownership
Execute with a high degree of autonomy while staying aligned with priorities
This role requires judgment, independence, and maturity
Qualifications
5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in professional services (investment advisory, consulting, legal, accounting, nonprofit, or related fields)
Demonstrated ability to create strategy and execute it
Strong written communication skills
Experience managing marketing calendars, deliverables, and deadlines
High attention to detail and follow‑through
Comfortable operating independently and being accountable for outcomes
Experience with nonprofits, philanthropy, or financial services is a strong plus but not required.
Success Indicators The Marketing Manager is successful when:
Marketing plans are delivered on time and executed consistently
Day‑to‑day marketing execution is owned and managed independently
Marketing efforts support firm growth, visibility, and credibility
Deliverables are accurate, professional, and reliable
Compensation and Benefits Total compensation range: $64,000 - $80,000
Benefits include:
2 weeks paid time off + 1 week paid sick leave
