About the Role Anna Beck is seeking a highly skilled, visually minded, and analytically driven Ecommerce Manager to own and optimize our digital storefront. This role requires someone who can think like a strategist, act like a merchant, and move like a data analyst, balancing brand storytelling with measurable performance. In this role, you’ll oversee the day‑to‑day management, growth, and optimization of our Shopify site, ensuring a seamless customer experience that aligns with both creative direction and business goals. You will develop marketing strategies and calendars and follow through on implementation. You’ll collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, design, and operations while reporting directly to the CEO to drive traffic, increase conversion, and elevate the brand’s online presence.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain all aspects of the Shopify storefront, including homepage updates, product uploads, navigation, and collection pages.

Execute seasonal merchandising strategies that reflect brand storytelling and drive conversion.

Partner closely with the CEO and creative team to translate campaign and product launches into compelling digital experiences.

Ensure visual consistency across all site assets – photography, copy, and layout – aligning with brand standards.

Conduct regular site audits to identify opportunities for optimization, improved UX, and speed/performance enhancements.

Analytics & Performance Optimization

Monitor key ecommerce metrics (traffic, conversion rate, AOV, CAC, bounce rate, and revenue) and identify opportunities for growth.

Use Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, and Klaviyo to develop insights that inform design, content, and promotional strategies.

Run A/B tests and implement learnings to improve conversion rate and customer retention.

Create regular reports and performance dashboards for leadership, providing actionable insights and recommendations.

Marketing

Develop and execute marketing campaigns aligned with business goals.

Manage brand positioning, messaging, and voice across all channels.

Oversee digital marketing efforts (email, social, paid media, SEO, content).

Campaign & Content Coordination

Collaborate with the marketing and design teams on campaign launches, product drops, and promotional moments.

Manage content updates tied to seasonal stories, brand partnerships, or new collections.

Ensure all creative assets, product pages, and storytelling align with campaign goals and messaging.

Customer Experience & Retention

Partner with operations and customer service to ensure a frictionless post‑purchase experience.

Support loyalty and retention initiatives, including email/SMS segmentation and onsite personalization.

Identify and test new tools or integrations that enhance user experience and retention.

Cross‑Functional Leadership

Act as the digital hub between creative, marketing, and operations, ensuring priorities stay aligned across teams.

Own timelines, briefs, and deliverables related to site content and launches.

Collaborate directly with the CEO on ecommerce strategy, sales forecasting, and digital growth planning.

Qualifications

4–6 years of hands‑on ecommerce management experience, ideally in jewelry, fashion, or lifestyle.

Deep expertise in Shopify (Plus experience preferred) and comfort managing integrations and apps.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Analytics, Klaviyo, and Excel/Sheets for performance tracking and reporting.

Strong visual sensibility and experience merchandising digital storefronts and collections.

Proven track record of improving conversion rates, AOV, and customer retention.

Working understanding of SEO, UX best practices, and onsite testing frameworks.

Ability to build out custom site pages.

Basic photo editing skills.

Organized, proactive, and collaborative – thrives in a founder‑led, entrepreneurial environment.
