Job Description Responsible for managing the complete payroll and equity administration functions, ensuring compliance with all federal and state requirements, and supporting employees with payroll and equity related inquiries.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Process accurate and timely weekly and semi-monthly payroll in ADP Workforce Now, including review of journal entries and G/L posting.

Assist Junior Accountant in entering payroll data (benefit deductions, wage garnishments, wage adjustments, transfers, etc.) and ensure all payroll responsibilities are completed.

Provide payroll support, answer employee questions, troubleshoot issues, initiate ADP service tickets, and resolve inaccuracies.

Maintain payroll data integrity in ADP – new hires, authorized changes, terminations.

Ensure compliance with federal and state reporting requirements (monthly, quarterly, year‑end reports, W‑2s, 1095‑C).

Process employee equity transactions for Stock Based Compensation, ESPP, 401(k), HSA, including coordination with third‑party providers.

Prepare year‑end E‑Trade requirements and tax statements.

Educate and assist employees on equity related questions.

Reconcile records between E‑Trade, transfer agent, and general ledger on a monthly to annual basis.

Manage all equity compensation payroll processing.

Maintain EEO database and conduct regular audits against ADP for completeness.

Respond promptly to internal and external audit requests.

Support annual 5500 filing and workforce‑comp audit, as well as 401(k) audit.

Generate payroll reports requested by management.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Proficient with E*TRADE Client Resource Center and Equity Edge Online for managing options, awards, RSUs, ESPP.

Experience with ADP Workforce Now payroll platform.

Strong communication, teamwork, and business‑partnering skills.

ERP experience is a plus.

Knowledge of setting up state configurations in ADP and dealing with government agencies.

Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

Experience processing payroll across multiple states.

Strong understanding of tax withholding and reporting regulations.

Excellent written and verbal communication, problem‑solving, organization, and attention to detail.

Ability to prioritize assignments, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.

Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations.

Ability to build constructive relationships with managers and employees.

Capacity to maintain confidentiality of employee information.

Education, Experience, and Training

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

3+ years of progressive stock administration experience.

Flexible, adaptable, self‑motivated, and capable of working independently and under tight deadlines.

Strong professional conduct with all levels of management and alignment with company values (Customer Focus, Respect, Sense of Urgency, Teamwork).
