Trinity Health of New England is looking for an
ON‑SITE Virtual Monitoring Attendant (VMA)
to join our team. This person is responsible for continuous monitoring on patients requiring close observation via a remote camera monitoring.
Responsibilities
Maintain visual observation at all times of up to 12 patients, monitoring patient behaviors and movements.
Verbally redirect patients over a digital 2‑way audio device using a microphone and headset; immediately summon nursing staff if assistance is required.
Support the plan of care for patients requiring virtual monitoring.
Document incidents and report when a patient appears to pose a threat to themselves or others.
Communicate with internal and external customers and colleagues in a courteous, positive, empathetic and professional manner.
Schedule
Onsite – St. Francis Hospital, Hartford CT
36‑hour FT night shift – 7 PM to 7 AM
Must work every other weekend and rotating holidays.
24/7 work environment – rain or shine.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
Basic computer skills.
Able to function independently and manage own time and work tasks.
Healthcare experience preferred.
