Lead Toddler Teacher Guidepost Montessori is hiring a Lead Toddler Teacher at our North Scottsdale campus. In this role you will nurture toddlers in a Montessori environment that encourages independence, exploration, and confidence.

Your Role As an enthusiastic and dedicated Lead Guide (Teacher) you will support a mixed‑age class of toddlers, preparing a beautiful, orderly environment and providing individualized guidance. You will work one‑on‑one and in small groups, modeling how to use the materials and helping children develop practical life skills, language, and social confidence.

Guidepost Toddler Lead Guides Responsibilities

Observe each child closely to understand and meet their physical, intellectual, and emotional needs.

Prepare a beautiful, orderly environment that fosters trust, exploration, deep learning, and independence.

Cultivate independence and self‑confidence by helping children ‘do it all by themselves’.

Provide lessons to encourage practical life skills, language, and grace and courtesy.

Form personal connections with each child and cultivate a community of respect.

Communicate and collaborate respectfully with parents to provide the best possible care for every child.

Montessori Prepared Environment Every classroom at Guidepost is equipped with high‑quality Montessori materials for the infant/toddler curriculum and a budget to personalize the space. Features include:

An Ideal Candidate Has

Interest in pursuing certified Montessori training through our Prepared Montessorian Institute (fully sponsored) or previous Montessori diploma.

Experience working with children ages 0–3 in a group setting such as daycare, aftercare, or nursery.

Familiarity with child‑led philosophies such as Reggio Emilia or Montessori and/or willingness to learn more.

Earned a Bachelor’s Degree (any subject).
