Job Description
We’re looking for someone who is a reliable and experienced driver to join the team as a contract Delivery Driver to deliver fresh seafood products to wholesalers, restaurants, and customers for our new food brand. Deliveries will take place throughout San Francisco and East Bay. This is a part‑time contract position, for 2 days per week on a consistent basis - with opportunities for additional work.
Qualifications:
Valid Driver’s License and a Clean Driving Record
You own and operate your own vehicle, with air conditioning
Experienced with handling seafood, meat, and/or other perishable food products in a safe and sanitary manner
Ability to regularly lift up to 60 lbs (this is an active, physical job).
Able to time manage for on‑time deliveries
Bonus: experience with customer interactions
Responsibilities:
Planning and optimizing delivery routes to maximize efficiency
Load, transport, and deliver seafood products to customer locations
Maintain accurate records of client sales orders, receipts, invoices, and accounts information.
Monitor product quality and compliance with food safety standards during transit
Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment and delivery of orders
Provide input on improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
Report on customer inquiries, issues, and customer product recommendations
Support team with production or operations tasks as needed
Sourcing new restaurant and wholesale customers, building and maintaining strong client relationships, when applicable
