Pump and Tank Technician (AST and UST)

$26.00/hr - $38.00/hr

The Role We are looking for a motivated and qualified Tank Technician. The Tank Tech will be tasked with completing projects such as UST and AST installs/removals/upgrades (from entire fueling facility to spill bucket replacements), soil remediation, confined space tank cleaning, piping install, etc. In short… services surrounding above ground and underground petroleum tank systems.
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain a safe work environment according to all applicable regulations
Follow standard industry procedures and manufacturers recommendations
Manage a construction crew efficiently with clear and precise instructions
Provide clear communication
Routinely lift in excess of 45 pounds
Install, remove, and service above ground and underground petroleum tanks
Work with threaded steel pipe, flex piping and fiberglass piping
Be familiar with industry material and equipment
Requirements
Have a clean driving record and valid driver's license
Work in diverse environments such as confined space, trenches, heights, etc.
Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
Occasional overnight travel as well as extended work shifts
Pass pre‑employment drug screen
Additional Experience (Plus)
Heavy equipment operating experience
Computer proficiency (Excel, Word, etc.)
Concrete experience
Electrical experience
