Job Overview
Here at Fairview, we are now seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our imaging team at our Midway Clinic in St Paul, MN. This is a .8 FTE (64 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work the following schedule:
Monday: 7:30AM - 4PM
Tuesday: 8AM - 4:30PM
Thursday: 8AM - 4:30PM
Friday: 7:30AM - 4PM
Minimum of one year of related experience in General Diagnostic Breast Imaging and 1 year of experience working with patients in a capacity including frequent interactions and an understanding of age‑life cycle needs.
Responsibilities
Determines and revises priorities for diagnostic testing
Applies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non‑routine diagnostic testing procedures.
Adheres to radiologic diagnostic testing procedures
Documents compliance with regulatory agency requirement
Ensures imaging procedures meet all standards and protocols
Evaluates imaging results for diagnostic quality
Assesses the validity of the test results to determine if consistent with changing physiological conditions or if due to possible interfering substances
Demonstrating ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural difference of population served.
