ABOUT US:
Founded in 1993, Bayview Asset Management is an investment management firm focused on investments in mortgage and consumer credit, including whole loans, asset-backed securities, mortgage servicing rights, and other credit-related assets.
POSITION SUMMARY: The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with regional and international clients on a wide range of complex transactions including acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, join ventures, corporate restructuring, shareholder relations, recapitalizations, demergers, leveraged buyouts, and defenses against unsolicited takeover attempts, strategic advisory assignments and executions of public and private capital markets transactions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build and analyze detailed financial models and valuations
Drive diligence workstreams and coordinate third-party advisors
Prepare investment committee materials and deal summaries
Monitor portfolio company performance and support value creation initiatives
Conduct market and industry research
Skills/KNowledge/ABilities:
Strong analytical, modeling and presentation skills
Detail-oriented, collaborative and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal written communication skills
Education and experience:
1 to 3 years of experience in investment banking, consulting or private equity
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or related field
Asset-backed finance, specialty finance or depository experience
LOCATION and COMPENSATION:
This role will be based in our NY office.
Base compensation is expected to be$110,000 - $150,000with the opportunity for incentive compensation including bonus compensation.
