Responsibilities
Provides thorough and accurate report to oncoming shift.
Assists with orientation of new security staff and educates security staff as needed on policy updates, protocols and shift expectations.
In conjunction with the Director and Manager, provides input on staff performance and annual reviews.
Completes and documents community rounds. Is alert to wandering and /or confused residents, potential incidents, responds as needed. Is alert to residents and visitors in the building. Responds as needed to meet the needs of the community.
Reports all safety or hazardous situations of an emergent nature immediately to the proper personnel. Follows Administration on call procedures.
Responds to all fire alarms and/or emergency/disruptive situations -resolves problems. Maintains calm and order during an emergency. (power outage, weather, etc).
Directs traffic and enforces parking compliance.
Greets all visitors, vendors, staff and provides directions and/or assistance as indicated.
Other duties within scope of job functions as assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent
One (1) year experience
Valid Driver's License
Guard Card Preferred
