Infrastructure Delivery Manager II, Infrastructure Delivery
Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. As an Infrastructure Delivery Manager II, you will lead a growing team of data center technicians, engineers, and operations staff to deliver inbound capacity and equipment on time, with zero rework, while upholding the highest standards for safety, security, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Prioritize and assign tasks to data center technicians and operators, manage project schedules, and develop documentation.
Manage inbound capacity from receiving through deployment stages, ensuring timely installation of network and cabling infrastructure.
Guide, train, and educate staff on best practices and service owner issues.
Coordinate team resources to support project and delivery needs, including emergency projects, change management, maintenance windows, and on‑call support.
Recruit and train data technicians to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
Host weekly staff meetings and provide weekly reports to the data center manager.
Recommend, document, and oversee policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and required SLAs.
Drive compliance with Amazon performance management requirements and maintain network availability.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree or above.
Experience in people management, project management, and technical understanding of data center operations.
Knowledge of network capacity planning, low‑voltage structured cabling, and AWS data center environment.
Cloud+ or GICSP or GSEC or SSCP certification (preferred).
