The City of Milaca Police Department is accepting applications to fill the position of (2) Full‑Time Police Officers. Applicants must be P.O.S.T Licensed or eligible to be licensed by the date of hire. The current starting pay for 2025 is $28.86 per hour. Top pay is currently $37.20 per hour based on a six‑year step schedule.
Benefits:
The City of Milaca provides a competitive benefits package including 100% individual employee paid health and dental premium. Family health premiums are covered by the employer at 85% of the premium. A generous HSA contribution of $3,000 per year for individuals, and $6,000 per year for family. Long‑term disability and short‑term disability coverage paid by the employer. Life insurance coverage of $20,000 paid by the employer. Initial equipment and uniforms will be provided by the employer. Starting in the second year of employment, officers will receive a $1,000 uniform allowance annually per the union contract.
