Job posting: The Recreation Manager provides strategic leadership, vision, and operational oversight for the Albert Lea Recreation Department. Responsibilities include:
Lead planning, development, and administration of recreation programs, facilities, events, and services.
Collaborate closely with Public Works and Engineering on park and facility maintenance and capital planning.
Partner with community organizations on long‑range planning, master plans, and strategic initiatives.
Manage the City Arena, Aquatic Center, Marion Ross Theater, and Senior Center.
Oversee scheduling of the City Arena and Aquatic Center, park pavilion rentals, and issuance of boat dock permits.
Apply strong leadership, budgeting, communication, and knowledge of public recreation operations, safety regulations, and facility management.
