Hourly Rate: $20.00/hour (W-2 Employee with Full Compliance)

Excelsior Arms Security Services LLC has been selected as the DBE partner for a major, long-term security contract protecting the Downtown Development District of New Orleans. We are building an elite team of professional armed officers for this high-visibility, community-focused assignment. If you seek stable, active, and rewarding security work, this is your opportunity.
Qualifications
Current /Active LSBPSE Armed Certification & Previous Level 1 or higher Louisiana Law Enforcement / Corrections POST Certification (Armed) Training.
Minimum 2–3 years of verifiable, active armed security, law enforcement, or relevant military experience.
PHYSICAL READINESS: ACTIVE FOOT-MOBILE PATROL role. Must be in excellent physical condition to work outdoors in all typical New Orleans weather conditions (heat, humidity, rain). Extensive foot patrol (8+ miles per shift) and may include bicycle.
Ability to pass comprehensive background, drug, and sex offender screening.
Impeccable professional conduct, communication, and report‑writing skills.
Responsibilities
Conduct high‑visibility armed mobile patrols (primarily foot, potentially bicycle) throughout the DDD.
Perform proactive deterrence through consistent zone coverage and public engagement.
Respond to incidents, provide assistance, and enforce DDD regulations.
Maintain detailed daily activity and incident reports.
Represent Excelsior and our client with the highest professionalism.
