SLEEP SALES ASSOCIATE (OKC/FT) Non‑Safety Sensitive

Responsibilities
Promote and sell merchandise displayed within the bedding department only.
Work directly with internal and external customers.
Follow up with customer orders and inquiries.
Assist with any problems associated with merchandise in conjunction with customer service and warehouse operations.
Work on an organizational level with other departments to ensure customer needs are met.
Ask customers questions about products, prices, availability, and product uses to better understand their needs.
Explain product features in a clear manner that the customer will understand.
Explain how product features will benefit the customers based on their needs.
Prepare sales tickets for orders obtained.
Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs.
Describe merchandise and explain its use, operation, and care to customers.
Stay educated on new products, policies, and advertisements the store is running.
Apply knowledge of methods for showing, promoting, and selling products.
Use excellent customer relations skills.
Follow up with customers by email and phone.
Perform any other duties as directed by management.
Ensure point‑of‑purchase (POP) displays are received and displayed.
Keep mattresses clean and stain‑free.
Cut excess strings on mattresses.
Keep footers clean; ensure overall cleanliness of the mattress area regularly.
Maintain core 4 and straighten pillows/sheets.
Check bases/remotes to ensure they are working.
Disinfect/wipe remotes daily; keep computer/printer area clean; make sure TVs are on and streaming.
Submit stains on carpet or scuffed walls to the snap list for cleaning or painting.
Employment Standards Must be able to work flexible shifts, such as opening and closing shifts; advanced Storis knowledge required; ability to lift merchandise of up to 20 lbs; effective communication with team members; positive attitude when working with customers; proven leadership within the organization; knowledge of employment and merchandise handling procedures.
Physical Activity Requirements Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
Heavy Work Lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly to move objects.
Work Environment Indoor, climate‑controlled environment.
