2027 Investment Banking Summer Analyst - Energy, Infrastructure, & Transition (H

* Undergraduate students in Math, Engineering, Business, Economics, or related discipline who will be graduating between December 2027 and June 2028* Extremely dedicated and motivated individual with high career aspirations. Must be capable of assuming significant levels of responsibility for assignments to be completed within short time frames* Excellent analytical ability including demonstrated knowledge of valuation techniques and practices, including cash-flow analysis* Strong technical, computational and quantitative skills* Strong interest in and knowledge of financial markets and the energy or energy infrastructure sectors* Excellent understanding of financial statements, credit analysis and accounting principles* Knowledge of accounting principles relating to financial statement preparation and business combinations* Proven ability to pay close attention to detail and multi-task under tight deadlines* Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills* Well-developed organizational skills in order to respond to shifting priorities on several simultaneous projects* Demonstrated job commitment including a willingness to work, as well as personal flexibility and adaptability in order to meet client deliverables and timelines* Excellent interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communication skills in order to convey factual and conceptual information to others and promote the interests of CIBC Capital MarketsAt CIBC, we are in business to help our clients, employees and shareholders achieve what is important to them.
