Pensacola, FL

territory in this unique community‑based opportunity. Starting salary is

$75,000

per year with an earning potential of a six‑figure income after 5 years of successful service as an Account Executive/University Development Counselor.

New hire training will be held in‑person at our Phoenix, AZ campus.

Responsibilities

Strategy and execution: consistently identify and implement event/activity plans for your territory, build awareness of our online academic programs for education, healthcare and business, and drive inquiry generation. Shape high‑impact partnerships and execute daily work through informational presentations, calls and emails, iterating as needed to maximize value.

Partner and influencer: through a variety of mediums, provide exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families and partners on their journey to enrollment. Champion the GCE mission, promoting Grand Canyon University student success and institutional growth.

Heart and Hustle: this community‑based role with ambitious targets requires working independently, using out‑of‑the‑box critical thinking skills to support prospective Grand Canyon University students through the admissions process and guide them on the right path toward a successful online learning experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree. No delinquent or in‑default federal student loan; if in a rehabilitation program, credit report must show current, not delinquent payments.

Outstanding time‑management skills; ability to prioritize competing priorities even while traveling.

Clear communication and listening skills across in‑person, written and phone communication.

Self‑motivation and drive to succeed: volunteer for new challenges without waiting to be asked.

High emotional intelligence and empathy to coach a diverse range of students.

A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and flexibility to travel extensively; clean driving record.

Computer literacy; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and use of digital tools to execute and be accountable.

Bonus Points If You Have

Relevant industry professional experience (enrollment, recruiting, counseling).

Experience working with CRM tools.
