Job Overview
Utilities Technician – Day Shift at Nestlé. No visa sponsorship.
Hourly pay $40.35–$42.35. Full‑time, 8‑hour shift 6 am–6:30 pm. Sign‑on bonus $2,500.
Responsibilities
Preventive and corrective maintenance of facility equipment, including boiler systems, ammonia refrigeration, chilled‑water glycol systems, reverse osmosis, wastewater recycling centre.
Plan, prioritize and execute maintenance plans to optimize reliability.
Provide support for improvement projects.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum 5 years of experience with mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, boiler systems; knowledge of chilled‑water glycol systems.
Refrigeration certification preferred.
Technical associate degree or certificate preferred.
Required to obtain CARO (Certified Assistant Refrigeration Operator) certification within 6–12 months of employment.
No contact lens use allowed in ammonia areas.
Skills
Work‑order management and maintenance‑plan review to drive equipment reliability.
Problem‑solving skills to maintain, optimize and improve equipment, with key plant indicators such as safety, quality, cost.
Mechanical system knowledge – hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical drive systems.
