Charge Radiology Technologist (Evenings)
Position is offered by BJC (Barnes‑Jewish St. Peters Hospital), located in Saint Peters, MO.

Monday through Friday
3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Evening Shift Differential available
Overview Barnes‑Jewish St. Peters Hospital is a 102‑bed community hospital that provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, including the Siteman Cancer Center, Breast Health and Women’s Center, Cardiology Center, Neurosurgery Center, and Outpatient Surgery and Endoscopy Center. The hospital is an Accredited Chest Pain Center and holds a Level II stroke certification. Imaging Services offer general, diagnostic, and interventional radiology, digital mammography, CT scan, MRI, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, and PET/CT scan.
Responsibilities
Prepares patients and equipment for procedures, informing patients of instructions with a high level of customer service and professionalism.
Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently, in on‑call situations (if applicable), portable exams, and other tasks assigned by the department.
Manages shift operations: daily workflow, assignments, lunch schedules, and adjusts priorities and assignments to meet departmental needs; enters/escalates IT and equipment tickets.
Serves as the clinical resource and expert for technologists, troubleshooting difficult exams and mentoring.
Acts as the clinical liaison between the team and leadership, ensuring proper information is communicated and escalated to the supervisor when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Associate or Trade School Equi.
Experience: 2–5 years in radiology.
Supervisor Experience: No experience required.
Licenses & Certifications
Illinois Equipment Measuring Agency (IEMA) – Illinois only, exclude MRI.
Radiology Technologist – Reg.
Preferred Requirements
Experience: 5–10 years preferred.
Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
