Responsibilities A Pharmacy Medical Biller contributes to AHF's mission by projecting and integrating within and outside of the Department of Medicine. Key duties include claims submission, claim edits, payment posting, cashiering, credit and refund processing, insurance follow‑up, denial management, patient follow‑up, and patient collections. The role verifies patient insurance eligibility and ensures scope of coverage, providing outstanding service that enhances AHF’s reputation and encourages patient loyalty. The position handles refunds, overpayments, and transfers of payments to the appropriate accounts under management approval, maximizing revenue. The medical biller adds consistent value to the revenue cycle/DOM department by adapting to various situations with ease and flexibility.

Qualifications Licenses and Certifications: Pharmacy Technician License & Medical Billing Certification.
