Responsibilities
Conduct medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist.
Provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist.
Perform therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population.
Document treatment interventions given.
May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel.
Requirements
BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire or transfer date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy Assistant credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire or transfer date.
Education
High school diploma or equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, or Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job‑specific experience required.
Prefer Inpatient Rehab Experience, But Not Required
