Maple Ave Pediatrics is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team! We are a small group practice that is committed to offering the highest quality medical care for your children. Our office offers a warm and friendly environment where we can become partners in our patient's goal of maintaining a happy and healthy family. The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to care center patients under supervision of Physicians and patient Clinical Services Manager. We are looking for a team member who is friendly, reliable and has the ability to multitask.
This is a part-time position working 20 to 24 hours per week. There may be an opportunity for additional hours if interested. This position requires some weekend availability as you will be required to work 1 to 2 weekend mornings and 1 to 2 evening shifts per month.

Essential Functions :
Interview patients and document basic medical history
Arrange laboratory services
Assist during medical examinations
Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
Patient intake, vital signs, hearing / vision
Laboratory testing - u / a, Hgb, Lead, Flu, Mono spots, Strep, Covid PCR
Phone Triage
Computer / EMR Experience
Performs additional job-related duties as assigned
Required Skills / Abilities :
Firm grasp on medical practices, administrative processes, and organizational policies
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in administrative tasks
Must be highly organized and detail-oriented; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility
Familiarity with medical terminology and digital record systems
Ability to communicate effectively and verbalize ideas
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands and demonstrates the highest level of customer / client service and response
Demonstrates ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Education and Experience :
Must have an active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
Completion of an approved LPN program required
Minimum of one-year professional nursing experience, clinic experience preferred.
Must maintain CPR certification
Medical office experience and pediatric experience is a plus
