About the Clinic Young Talkers is a private pediatric and adult speech‑language pathology therapy clinic located in Myrtle Beach, SC. A Speech‑Language Pathologist has owned and operated it for 14 years, and it has been voted Best of the Beach Speech Therapy Clinic for the past 8 years.
Our SLPs receive all required clinical treatment and testing materials, iPads, laptops, and desktops. Therapy rooms are individually assigned, and most have an observation room with a one‑way mirror. SLPs do not need to purchase supplies.
Responsibilities Provide speech‑language pathology services for patients ages birth to 18 years in a clinic setting. Opportunities also exist to work in schools, daycare/preschools, or home environments (EI) for a small percentage of time. In addition, support adult speech‑language pathology services in areas such as voice, swallowing, language, brain injury, and CVA.
Supervise and work with Clinical Fellows (CFs), providing mentorship and professional development.
Qualifications
South Carolina state license (or willingness to obtain one)
Experience or interest in pediatric caseloads (including autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, feeding disorders, articulation/phonological disorders, cochlear implants, language disorders, fluency disorders, and other disorders)
Preferred: Graduate‑level membership (CF or CCC), but open to current graduates
Full‑time, part‑time, or PRN availability with flexible scheduling options
