Interventional Technologist – Ascension Providence
Ascension Providence in Waco, Texas invites applicants for the Interventional Technologist role. This full‑time position requires a cardiac cath lab technologist credentialed by Texas Medical Board and additional certifications per the requirements listed. Responsibilities
Assist with procedures and provide diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients. Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately. Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations. Observe patient during procedure and report abnormal activity. Monitor protocols and recommend updates or refinements as warranted. Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines. Perform specialized imaging procedures such as angio, complex vascular and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures, and assist the radiologist/PA. Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards. Benefits

BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date. Radiologic Technologist credentialed from Texas Medical Board before hire. One of the following: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from CCI; Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology credentialed from CCI; Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from ARRT (Vascular Interventional Radiography, Cardiac Interventional Radiography, Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography also accepted). Advanced Life Support preferred. Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. Education
