Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Behavioral Health Technician located in Pittsburg, CA. In this role, the technician will assist clients with day-to-day activities, implement care and treatment plans as directed by clinicians, monitor client progress, and provide emotional support. Additional responsibilities include documenting observations, collaborating with care teams, and facilitating therapeutic activities to promote client growth and well-being. The Behavioral Health Technician will also maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients during their care journey.

Qualifications

Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills to provide emotional support to clients

Ability to implement treatment plans, conduct behavior assessments, and monitor client progress

Organizational and documentation skills for accurate recording of observations and care data

Familiarity with implementing evidence-based therapeutic practices and tools

Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care

Compassion, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting individuals facing behavioral and emotional challenges

Preferred qualifications: Certification or training in behavioral health, previous experience in a similar role, and knowledge of mental health and developmental disorders

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in psychology, social work, or related fields is a plus
