Postural Restoration (PRI) Physical Therapist Oakview
Position Summary: The Physical Therapist - PRI provides high-quality, evidence-based care to a diverse population with musculoskeletal conditions. Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and implementing individualized treatment plans to restore function, reduce pain, and enhance overall quality of life. The PT works closely with the medical team to coordinate optimal patient outcomes. Position Requirements
Education:
Graduate of an approved physical therapy program. Licensure:
Fully licensed to practice physical therapy in Nebraska and/or Iowa. Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 60 days of hire; Advanced clinical certification preferred; Postural Restoration Certification preferred. Experience:
2+ years orthopedic experience as a physical therapist preferred. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to instruct and collaborate with others. Strong team orientation. Ability to accomplish multiple tasks and prioritize activities. Displays flexibility and adaptability to provide patient education regarding their specific treatment needs. Problem solving with patients, team, and other departments within OrthoNebraska. Essential Job Functions
Deliver high-quality clinical care and customer service. Establish goals and treatment plans in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare team. Provide treatment services to restore, maintain, or improve patient functions. Promote and advance the hospital's vision to be the BEST through department initiatives and community outreach. Develop and enhance the vision of the department with an emphasis on growth and program development. Promote collaboration with referring physicians. Offer clinical instruction to physical therapy and PT assistant students. Must be able and willing to collaborate with others demonstrating good listening, honest and respectful communication and consensus decision making. Responsible for all other duties as assigned. Physical requirements: Medium Work class; requires exertion of 20–50 lbs occasionally, 10–25 lbs frequently,
Must be able to pass background check, pre-employment physical and drug testing. Job offer contingent upon successful completion of background check, active licensure and pre-employment physical with drug screen. Seniority level: Entry level. Employment type: Full-time.
