Monogram Foods
The Forklift Operator/Material Handler is responsible for loading and unloading trailers, verifying and documenting materials, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring proper storage and organization of products. This position requires consistent adherence to safety standards, reliable communication, and teamwork in a cold storage environment.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Complete daily PIT inspection form. Load and unload trailers as assigned. Accurately process documentation for receipt and shipment of goods. Complete inbound/outbound trailer inspection forms. Maintain production FG pallet listing and load sheets for outbound shipments. Perform receiving tallies for inbound materials. Verify pallet counts and report discrepancies. Inspect pallets for damage or quality issues and notify the Warehouse Supervisor. Store product in proper freezer locations based on size and weight. Ensure warehouse supplies are stored in their designated areas. Assist with daily cycle counts and location verifications. Keep warehouse and freezer clean, organized, and safe. Deliver materials to production areas as needed. Consolidate storage areas to accommodate inbound materials. Participate in required safety, quality, and HR training. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor. Follow all safety policies and procedures outlined in the Monogram Employee Handbook and Quality Manual. Qualifications
Education And Experience
Must be literate and able to understand written procedures. Proficient in computer operations. Must be capable of lifting 30-50 lbs. repeatedly. Experience working in freezer environments is preferred. Demonstrated teamwork and reliability. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Physically able to lift, stand, and stoop for extended periods. Competencies And Skills
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Able to comprehend and follow instructions and work orders. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Positive work attitude in a fast-paced team environment. Physical Demands
Frequently lift and move items up to 50 pounds. Regular standing, walking, reaching, and bending required. Exposure to moving mechanical parts and loud environments. Cold storage environment between 30°F and 40°F. Must wear PPE including slip‑resistant footwear. Work Environment And Personal Protective Equipment
Cold, noisy warehouse and freezer setting. PPE required includes slip‑resistant shoes, gloves, and hearing protection as applicable. Handling of heavy pallets and operation of equipment is frequent. MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER NOTE: This role will require extended hours based on production needs, including work to be performed after regular business hours and on weekends. Seniority level
