Overview
Ferguson is seeking a Shipping Clerk to support an immediate need. The role will pull and prepare orders for shipment, receive and stage incoming material, audit picked orders, and maintain quality assurance documents such as the Material Test Report. The Shipping Clerk must adhere to all safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Hours
Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm. Pay
$19–25 hourly based on experience. Responsibilities
Pull and prepare orders for shipment. Receive, verify, stage, and stock all incoming material. Audit picked orders. Utilize the Material Test Report – a quality assurance document certifying a material’s chemical and physical properties, ensuring it meets specifications such as ASTM standards. Adhere to all safety regulations, including correct use of PPE and wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs. Qualifications
1–3 years of warehouse experience. Experience with heat numbers, MTR software, and COC’s preferred. Prior forklift experience preferred. A Material Handling Equipment Certification is preferred. Working knowledge of safety regulations and procedures. WMS/BWO experience preferred. General computer skills for basic data entry. Quick and accurate number recognition. Benefits
